How RegattaHub's Discover and social features work

RegattaHub's Discover tools let you browse events, fleets, and hundreds of past results across the sport, match results to a sailor profile, and follow the fleets you care about — all from one optional social layer you switch on in account settings.

Most sailors keep their regatta history in their heads, scattered scoresheets, or a folder of PDFs. RegattaHub's Discover and social features pull that history into one place and let you explore the wider sport — every event, fleet, and result we can reach — without leaving the app.

Turning on social features

Discover is opt-in. Open Account Settings, switch on Social Features, and a new Discover option appears at the top of the app. Leaving it off keeps your experience focused purely on the events you're registered for.

What you can explore

  • Events — browse regattas hosted on RegattaHub and elsewhere, across every class and style of racing.
  • Fleets — open any fleet to see its upcoming events and a full archive of past ones.
  • Results — over 600 past results, scraped wherever possible, including who podiumed at each event.
  • A map of every fleet and the places those boats have raced.

Boats and sailor profiles

From past results you can open an individual boat to see its full history — every result and everyone who has sailed aboard, automatically matched. You can also create a sailor profile, which doesn't exist until you make one. Once it does, you can search every result where you raced as skipper or crew, pull together a list of the boats and people you've sailed with, and see an early, Spotify-Wrapped-style yearly recap of your season.

Following fleets

Found a fleet you race in or want to keep an eye on? Follow it to keep its upcoming regattas close at hand. The goal is simple: make it easy to look back on the sailing you've done and find the next event worth entering.

Discover is open to everyone — open the app, turn on social features, and start browsing.

Frequently asked questions

Open Account Settings, switch on Social Features, and a Discover option appears at the top of the app. It is off by default.

Where do the past results in Discover come from?

RegattaHub aggregates over 600 past results from events across the sport, scraped wherever it is possible to do so, including podium finishes for each event.
