What is RegattaHub?

RegattaHub is self-serve regatta management built to remove friction from registration and running events. Anyone can create, configure, and publish a regatta, take registrations, score races, and communicate with sailors — no contracts or onboarding calls.

The technology sailors rely on hasn't kept pace with the rest of the digital world. RegattaHub exists to close that gap — and to remove the friction that quietly shrinks regattas. Every extra step in registration delays sign-ups, and a half-empty entry list makes the next sailor hesitate too. RegattaHub is built to make running and entering a regatta as quick and frictionless as possible.

Self-serve from the start

There's no need to contact anyone, schedule a call, or wait for setup. Anyone can create an event, configure it, publish it, take registrations, and go sailing — no back-and-forth required. You control the basics: location, name, description, currency, time zone, fleets, waivers, late fees, logo, and your notice of race and sailing instructions.

Registration and communication

You decide what to ask for at registration, from profile details to fully custom fields, and you control the emails RegattaHub sends — who they come from, who replies go to, and what contact information they carry. Announcements and notice board posts reach sailors in the app, on their My Events page, and through their notifications inbox, with optional email and iOS push notifications.

Scoring and racing

  • Import races and results via Vakaros, or add and edit races for any class.
  • Manage scoring inquiries and support a wide range of scoring methods and sports.
  • Configure pursuit races with multiple courses, start times, and start deficits.
  • Run check-in, scratch sheets, crew lists, and utilities like bow numbers.

Built for sailors too

The public side mirrors the admin tools in a more polished form: one clear place for announcements, visible entries and results, and a fully digital protest form that routes straight to the organizers. Beyond a single event, RegattaHub layers on tools to look back on the sailing you've done and plan what's next. You can read more about why we built RegattaHub on the blog.
