Discover Search & public sailor profiles

A new Discover Search makes it easy to find sailors, boats, fleets, and events from one place. Sailors now have public profile pages showing their race history and results, and individual races get their own public results pages with more detail on how each result was scored. The home page also gained a recommendations carousel to help you find regattas and fleets you might be interested in.

Team Racing Submissions

Team Racing events now have a public Submit tab for filing protests and inquiries, so competitors and race committees have one place to handle them without needing admin access.

Custom race weighting & role-based admin

Organizers can now set custom weighting for individual races when calculating standings and results, on both web and iOS. The admin dashboard also got smarter: navigation now adapts to your role, so Scorers, Protest Committee members, and other roles see only the tabs relevant to what they do.

Unlisted regattas

Organizers can now mark a regatta “Unlisted” from the Status section of the regatta form. An unlisted regatta stays reachable by its direct link — sailors can still view it and register — but it’s hidden from Discover, the home page, fleet pages, search, and search engines. Useful for private or invite-only events you don’t want showing up in public listings.

Sortable tables

Entries and standings tables, on both public race pages and the admin dashboard, can now be sorted by clicking a column header — sail number, boat, skipper, club, rating, points, and more — instead of only being available in a fixed order.

Support tickets & publishing

Filing a support ticket now sends a confirmation email to you and to the RegattaHub support team. Publishing a regatta is simpler too: it now shows one clear confirmation dialog instead of two, keeping only the warning that actually matters — that classes/fleets need to be set up before sailors can register.

Billing & payments

The external billing and payments tabs now show accurate figures instead of briefly flashing $0 while data is still loading, and we fixed a server error that could occur when connecting or reconnecting a Stripe account for payouts. We also fixed the Stripe invoicing checkout link redirecting to a broken page in production.

Reliability push

A broad batch of fixes landed this month: an iOS crash caused by incomplete race data, a sign-in issue affecting Safari on iPhone and iPad, weekly summary emails that had stopped sending, a loading error on the regatta detail page, and a handful of edge cases affecting scoring consistency. Admin permission checks are now more tolerant of slow connections — a check that used to time out and falsely show “Access Denied” now waits longer and offers a retry instead. Public race documents (notices, sailing instructions) and public Team Racing bracket pages now load correctly for signed-out visitors, and regatta admins are no longer incorrectly blocked from editing boats and sailor info. Race rotation template errors are now clear and specific instead of a generic failure, pages that hit a temporary network hiccup show a clear retry option, fleet admin pages load sailor lists faster, home page regatta cards no longer cut off long event or club names, editing a class or fleet setting now updates the page immediately, personalized regatta recommendations on iOS refresh more reliably, and a recurring error entering finishes or viewing races on iOS (caused by certain handicap ratings not being read correctly) is resolved.
